To “connect with the fertile dimension” of the current crisis, we can draw on the Buddhist concept of “bardo,”re-direct our attention beyond individualism and competition, recognize the interconnection “that weaves all life,” counteract apathy with “respect and reverence for other beings and ourselves, and choose a path of vulnerability and courage.
