Founder and director of Local Futures and creator of the film, The Economics of Happiness, Helena Norberg-Hodge has a deep background in academia and activism across Europe and in the US. She focuses on re-localization, reclaiming of the commons, and direct participation in community and sophisticated experiences with alternatives to globalization, including indigenous wisdom. She counsels connecting with like-minded people, questioning dominant assumptions, “listening to what really makes your heart sing…moments of deep contentment and happiness…starting small and local.”.
