Way of Council Practice  An Introduction

Seeding Council. Council can be a useful process for any gathering, group, organization that seeks to “open minds and hearts toward ethical, compassionate and mindful approaches to living the new realities” in today’s world. It offers a flexible way of inviting all voices to be present, to be given due time, to be listened to, and to be heard, so the deeper wisdom of the collective can emerge.

This session, facilitated by Bonnie Mennell of the New England Council Collective, is intended for participants who have experienced the council process in the work of the Council on the Uncertain Human Future and wish to explore how they might introduce the process into other aspects of the work they do in the world for groups, organizations, families, communities.
